The P-Eco Concept Car

A fine-looking vehicle indeed – A concept electric car brought to us by the South Korean Industrial Designer Jung-Hoon Kim. This looks the part and is innovative in the sense that it uses a series of cords which vibrate as the vehicle moves along to recoup lost energy and recharge the battery. Travelling over the gravel road in the picture would take more energy than a smooth tarmac surface but by recycling the vibrations, the P-Eco can help cancel this difference out.

We’ve seen the trend of recycling lost energy in vehicles through the KERS system in Formula 1 now perhaps it’s time to look at this seriously as an ecological way to improve efficiency in transport.
